Tonight at 7:05pm at TD Bank Ballpark, the Somerset Patriots will battle the Long Island Ducks in game two of the four game weekend series. The Ducks won the opener last night 9-4 in front of 5,026 fans. Veteran second baseman Ray Navarrate was the player of the game as he catapulted the Ducks to victory with his 5-for-5 performance.

Tonight’s pitching matchup features southpaw Dan Meyer for the Ducks going up against right hander Justin Cassel for the Patriots. Each pitcher will be making his Atlantic League debut. Meyer spent parts of the last five seasons in the big leagues with the Braves, Athletics and Marlins. Cassel spent his entire career pitching in the White Sox organization until this year.
