Lancaster, PA – Tonight at 7:00pm at Clipper Magazine Stadium the Somerset Patriots hit the road for the first time in 2012 and will battle the Lancaster Barnstormers in game one of this three game midweek series. The Patriots lost three of four games to the Long Island Ducks this past weekend and Barnstormers split a four game set with Blue Crabs in Southern Maryland.

Players To Watch…

Somerset Patriots outfielder Jonny Tucker: 8-for-16, 5 runs scored, 4 extra base hits, 2 stolen bases, 1 web gem catch.

Lancaster Barnstormers outfielder Fehlandt Lentini: 7-for-15 to start the season.

Pitching Matchup…

Tonight’s pitching matchup features southpaw Doug Arguello for the Patriots going up against fellow left hander John Halama for the Barnstormers. Arguello has thrown two scoreless innings this year while Halama picked up the opening night loss to the Blue Crabs. Halama has won 56 career games at the Major League level.

The Lancaster Barnstormers are having Eagles running back LeSean McCoy throw out the first pitch in honor of his foundation that raises money for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
