Bridgewater, NJ – Today at 11:05am from TD Bank Ballpark, the Somerset Patriots (6-5) host the Sugar Land Skeeters (4-7) in the second game of this four game midweek series featuring these Freedom Division foes. The Patriots won the series opener last night 8-4. Catcher Yusuf Carter had a season-high five RBI and starting pitcher Mike MacDonald earned his first win of 2012. The Patriots are in sole possession of first place in the Freedom Division.

The Patriots and the Skeeters and heading in opposite directions. The Patriots have won five of their last six games. The Skeeters have lost six of their last seven games.

In Josh Pressley’s first game at TD Bank Ballpark since signing with the Skeeters in the offseason, he registered two hits and reached base three times.

Today’s starting pitchers will feature Justin Cassel for the Patriots against Bobby Livingston for the Skeeters. This is the third time through the starting rotation for the Patriots so the pitch count should rise to 100.
