Central Islip, NY – Tonight the Somerset Patriots(12-9) visit the Long Island Ducks (13-7) at 7:05 p.m. from Bethpage Ballpark in the second game of this three game weekend series. The Patriots have lost four of five games to the Ducks this season.

Freddie Bynum looks to extend his hitting streak to 11 games tonight

Last night the Patriots squandered a four run lead in the seventh inning. The bullpen imploded surrendering seven runs in the final two frames to give the Ducks a 9-7 win.

Patriots second baseman Freddie Bynum is red hot. He’s currently on a 10 game hitting streak in which he has five multi-hit games during that stretch.
