Camden, NJ – Today the Somerset Patriots (15-20) play the Camden Riversharks (17-18) at 1:05 p.m from Campbell’s Field in the third game of this four game weekend series. The Patriots are struggling as they have lost a season-high seven games in a row. Meanwhile the Riversharks are hitting their stride as they are winners of four in a row.

Doug Arguello threw nine shutout innings in his last outing. He's on the bump again today.

Tough Scheduling…

This will be the Patriots fifth game in a span on 48 hours. They played a doubleheader each of the past two days and now they are dealt with an afternoon contest. Last night’s game even featured a one hour and twelve minute rain delay.

Road Woes…

The Patriots have lost 13 of their last 14 games away from home.

Hitting Streak Over…

Patriots second baseman Freddie Bynum snapped his 18 game hitting streak last night. Bynum extended his hitting streak in game one of the doubleheader with a single down the right field line but in the second game was 0-for-5 at the dish.

Today’s starting pitching matchup features lefty Doug Arguello for the Patriots against righty Mike McGuire for the Riversharks.
