Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (15-18, 50-53) host the York Revolution (16-15, 52-49) at 7:05 p.m. from TD Bank Ballpark in the final game of this three game midweek series. The Patriots have dropped the first two contests to the Revolution getting outscored by a combined score of 16-2.

Yunesky Sanchez is hitting .301 in the second half and had a three hit performance yesterday

Struggles Against Two Time Reigning AL Champs

Patriots are 3-9 in 2012 against the Revolution.

Shortstop Yunesky Sanchez hit just .212 in the first half of the season but in the second half he has turned his season around. Since the All-Star break he’s hitting .301 with two home runs and 13 RBI. He had 11 RBI the entire first half.

Lefty Roy Merritt toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Derrick Gordon is on the hill for the Revolution.
