Bridgewater, NJ- The York Revolution defeated the Somerset Patriots 10-0 before 6,634 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday evening.

The Revolution broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fifth inning on a two run RBI double by Ramon Castro to give them a 2-0 lead.

Five RBI base hits and a throwing error by catcher Adam Donachie brought home eight runs for York in the top of the eighth inning, blowing open the game to make the score 10-0.

York starter Ryan Feierabend (7-3) got the win after tossing six scoreless innings and striking out two.  Roy Merritt (8-7) suffered the loss, surrendering two runs on eight hits in six innings pitched.

The 2012 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on Sunday night when the Patriots take on the Revolution at 5:05 pm.  The game features Team Posters for the 1st 2,000 fans in attendance courtesy of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.
