York, PA – Tonight at 6:30 p.m. the Somerset Patriots (13-5) visit the York Revolution (10-9) in the third game of a four game midweek series from Sovereign Bank Stadium featuring these Freedom Division foes. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. After Somerset won a 14 inning affair Monday, the Revs responded last night by overcoming three different deficits to win 11-9.

Last night former Revolution player Ahron Eggleston smacked a two RBI single that at the time gave Somerset a 6-4 lead in the fourth inning and this is how it sounded courtesy of WCTC.

Starting Pitching Matchup

Righty Mitch Atkins (3-0, 2.81 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Nick Green (1-0, 3.37 ERA) will take the hill for the Revolution. Atkins leads the Atlantic League in wins while Green was an All-Star with Southern Maryland last year.

Freedom Division Update

The Sugar Land Skeeters (15-3) currently lead the Freedom Division by two games over the Patriots.

Jake Can Rake

Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League with seven home runs. In 2012 Fox hit seven homers in 21 games. In 2013 he has seven homers in 18 games. He continues to dominate in the Atlantic League.

Pounding The Zone

The Patriots pitching staff has accumulated 133 strikeouts thus far compared to just 40 walks. That’s good for an impressive 3 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio.

Showcasing Speed

Somerset leads the Atlantic League in stolen bases with 29. That’s four more than the next closest opponent. First year skipper Brett Jodie has been very aggressive thus far on the young season.

Fantastic Four

Somerset is 10-2 this season when they score four or more runs.
