Somerset is going for the sweep as they won 8-4 on Friday, 5-0 on Saturday and 7-4 last night.

Lefty Graham Taylor (3-1, 5.44 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Jason Lane (3-2, 3.96 ERA) will take the hill for the Skeeters.

The Somerset Patriots (29-11) currently lead the Sugar Land Skeeters (31-12) by 0.5 games for first place. Somerset is in sole possession of first place for the first time since the second game of the season.
Somerset has won eight of their last nine ball games.
Something Has To Give
The Patriots have the best team batting average (.303) in the Atlantic League while the Skeeters have the best team ERA (2.75) in the Atlantic League.
Gone But Not Forgotten
Josh Pressley was a five time All-Star, two time Atlantic League Champion and 2008 MVP with Somerset. This year the former Patriot is 9-for-25 (.360) against his former ball club.
Jake Can Rake
Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League with 14 home runs and his second in RBI with 38.
Eddy Martinez-Esteve leads the Atlantic League in batting average hitting at a tremendous .378 clip. He has a comfortable 30 point lead over the next best hitter in the league which is Brian Burgamy of York. Martinez-Esteve has hit safely in 18 of his last 20 games. He has reached base safely in 19 of his last 20 contests.
Better Than Average
The Patriots have five players in the top 15 in the Atlantic League in batting average: Martinez-Esteve (1st .378), Montanez (4th, .336), Eggleston (T-5th, .333), Smith (10th, .322), Fox (11th, .318)
The Patriots are 26-5 when they score four or more runs. The Patriots are 3-6 when they score 3 or fewer runs.
