Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (34-17) host the Bridgeport Bluefish (17-35) for a doubleheader at TD Bank Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. as each game will be seven innings with a 30 minute break in between contest. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Starting Pitching Matchup Game One

Righty Josh Lowey (5-3, 4.22 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while southpaw Miguel Martinez (1-1, 3.00 ERA) will take the hill for the Bluefish.

Starting Pitching Matchup Game Two

Righty Erik Arnesen (2-1, 4.10 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while the Bluefish starter is to be determined according to their skipper Willie Upshaw.

Freedom Division Update

The Sugar Land Skeeters (36-17) currently lead the Somerset Patriots (34-17) by 1.0 game in the first half Freedom Division race. Somerset has played two fewer games than Sugar Land.

Jake Can Rake

Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League in home runs with 16 and RBI with 45.

E-Mart Swag

Eddy Martinez-Esteve leads the Atlantic League in batting average hitting at a tremendous .360 clip. He has a comfortable 20 point lead over the next best hitter in the league which is Andres Perez of York. He has reached base safely in 27 of his last 30 contests.

Fantastic Four

The Patriots are 29-7 when they score four or more runs. The Patriots are 5-10 when they score 3 or fewer runs.
