Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (39-22) host the Camden Riversharks (21-41) for the first game of a five game midweek series featuring these Garden State foes. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. from TD Bank Ballpark as it is Bark In The Park Night. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. This is the first game of a nine game homestand for Somerset that concludes the first half of play.

Starting Pitching Matchup

Lefty Graham Taylor (4-2, 4.33 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while righty hurler Jeff Farnsworth (2-0, 6.17 ERA) will take the hill for the Sharks.

Freedom Division Update

The Sugar Land Skeeters (42-20) currently lead the Somerset Patriots (39-22) by 2.5 games in the first half Freedom Division race. Somerset has played one fewer game than Sugar Land. The Skeeters are hosting the Revolution tonight at 8:05 p.m.

June Jitters

The Patriots in April/May were 27-11 but in the month of June they are just 12-11.

In Graham Taylor’s last five starts he is 3-1 with a 2.02 ERA tallying 19 Ks and just 5 BBs.

Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League in home runs with 19 and RBI with 57.

Chicks Dig The Long Ball

The Patriots lead the Atlantic League with 68 home runs hit as a squad. Somerset also leads the Atlantic League in runs scored (362) and team batting average (.296).

Eddy Martinez-Esteve leads the Atlantic League in batting average hitting at a tremendous .353 clip. He is hitting .524 (11-for-21) with RISP and two outs.

The Patriots are 33-8 when they score four or more runs. The Patriots are 6-14 when they score 3 or fewer runs.
