Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (39-23) host the Camden Riversharks (22-41) for a doubleheader at TD Bank Ballpark. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Game one is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. and game two will follow 30 minutes after the ending of game one. Each contest will be seven innings. The Riversharks won the series opener 9-4 yesterday as they scored seven of their runs with two outs.

Starting Pitching Matchup Game One

Righty Erik Arnesen (4-1, 3.91 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Mike McGuire (2-3, 5.67 ERA) will take the hill for the Sharks.

Starting Pitching Matchup Game Two

Righty Paul Phillips (4-3, 6.00 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Josh Walter (4-6, 5.56 ERA) will take the hill for the Sharks.

Freedom Division Update

The Sugar Land Skeeters (43-20) currently lead the Somerset Patriots (39-23) by 3.5 games in the first half Freedom Division race. Somerset has played one fewer game than Sugar Land. The Skeeters are hosting the Revolution tonight at 8:05 p.m.

June Jitters

The Patriots in April/May were 27-11 but in the month of June they are just 12-12.

Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League in home runs with 19 and RBI with 57.

Chicks Dig The Long Ball

The Patriots lead the Atlantic League with 68 home runs hit as a squad. Somerset also leads the Atlantic League in runs scored (366) and team batting average (.295).

E-Mart Swag

Eddy Martinez-Esteve leads the Atlantic League in batting average hitting at a tremendous .349 clip. He is hitting .524 (11-for-21) with RISP and two outs.
