Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots defeated the York Revolution 9-2 at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday evening.erik arnesen throwing

The Patriots jumped out to a three run lead in the second on a homerun by Adam Donachie (6).

Somerset added to their lead in the fourth after Jorge Cortes scored on a wild pitch and Johnny Tucker drove in two more runs on a base hit for the 6-0 advantage.

RBI doubles by Donachie and Bobby Stevens and an RBI single by Tucker plated three more runs for the Patriots to give them a commanding 9-0 lead.

Matt Spencer (3) drove a two run homerun over the outfield wall in the ninth for the 9-2 final.

Patriots starter Erik Arnesen (8-2) got the win, tossing a complete game and allowing only two runs.  York starter Rick Zagone (2-3) suffered the loss, surrendering nine runs on 10 hits in five innings pitched.
