Lancaster, PA – The Lancaster Barnstormers (32-28, 68-61) beat the Somerset Patriots (39-20, 85-44) 2-1 Wednesday night from Clipper Magazine Stadium to even the best of three series.

In the top of the third inning left fielder Aharon Eggleston sliced a RBI single to give the Patriots an early 1-0 advantage.

Lancaster plated a pair of runs in the ensuing half inning to take a 2-1 lead which would be the final. Third baseman Olmo Rosario ripped a RBI double while shortstop Joe Thurston tallied a RBI single.

Derrick Loop (4-6) earned the win tossing 6.2 innings of one run baseball. Erik Arnesen (13-3) hurled a complete game and was the tough luck loser. Yoslan Herrera (11) notched the save.
