Starting Pitching Matchup

Lefty Roy Merritt (4-2, 1.96 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Doug Arguello (2-0, 3.88 ERA) will take the hill for the Skeeters. Roy Merritt has a 1-1 record with a 5.14 ERA in four games/one start against Sugar Land. Doug Arguello is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in one start which involved five scoreless innings.

Postseason Party

The Skeeters are in the playoffs for the first time in their franchise history. The Patriots have made the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
