Bridgewater, NJ– Happy Independence Day! Tonight the Somerset Patriots (43-23) host the Bridgeport Bluefish (22-45) for the first game of a three game weekend series featuring these flagship franchises. The Somerset Patriots are the 2014 1st Half Liberty Division Champions! This is their 13th Half Title in franchise history as the Patriots are going to the playoffs for some serious September baseball! The Patriots have elected to take the back three games of the first round series at home so they will open up the postseason on the road.
