York, PA – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (28-20, 75-43) travel to the Keystone state to battle the York Revolution (26-22, 67-51) for the first game of a four game wrap around weekend series featuring these two postseason bound squads. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. from Santander Stadium. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Somerset is 5-8 against York this year.

If the Patriots go 16-6 in their final 22 games they’d amass 91 wins which would be a franchise record for most wins in a single season

Closer Jon Hunton leads the Atlantic League with 42 saves. That’s 14 more than anyone else in the league. He has only blown two saves since June 1st. Hunton has already set the Atlantic League single season saves record as he broke Mike Guilfoyle’s record of 40 done in 2003 with Bridgeport.

The Somerset Patriots are the 2014 1st Half Liberty Division Champions! This is their 13th Half Title in franchise history as the Patriots are going to the playoffs for some serious September baseball! The Patriots are trying to repeat as half division title winners. They currently lead the 2nd Half Liberty Division standings by 6.0 games over Long Island.
