Sugar Land, TX – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (6-3) travel to the Lone Star State to battle the Sugar Land Skeeters (6-5) for the first game of a three game midweek series. First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. eastern time from Constellation Field. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Starting Pitching Matchup

Lefty Matt Zielinski (0-0, 1.80 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Matt Maloney (1-0, 0.90 ERA) will toss for Sugar Land. Maloney pitched for Somerset last year and started game one of the first round postseason series against Lancaster. In the regular season with the Patriots he was 10-8, 3.40 ERA in 22 starts.
