Camden, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (48-18) commute for the Turnpike Series with the Camden Riversharks (26-40) as these two Garden State foes battle in the final game of a four game midweek set from Campbell’s Field. Somerset is in sweep mode as Camden is in salvage mode. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Somerset is 5-2 against Camden in 2015. These two squads play each other 24 times so first to 13 victories wins the Turnpike Cup.

Lefty Matt Zielinski (2-1, 2.68 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Daniel Herrera (2-1, 6.41 ERA) will toss for Camden

The Magic Number to clinch the 1st Half Liberty Division is two. Somerset can clinch tonight as the Patriots would have to win OR the Ducks would have to lose to the Barnstormers. The Ducks are playing at home where they’ve won 16 straight games at The Pond. The Ducks game starts 30 minutes prior to the Patriots game.
