The Patriots are searching for their sixth Atlantic League Championship while the Blue Crabs are looking for their first. This is a rematch of the 2009 Atlantic League Championship Series where the Patriots won 3-1.

Starting Pitching Matchup

Righty Will Oliver (6-2, 3.16 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while southpaw Brian Burress (8-9, 3.98 ERA) will toss for Southern Maryland. Facing elimination in Game Four against the Ducks, Oliver hurled a masterpiece tossing a complete game four hit shutout. Burress is a former big leaguer with the Orioles and picked up the loss in Game Two of first round set against Lancaster.
