Starting Pitching Matchup

Lefty Darin Gorski (0-0, 0.00 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while righty hurler Bobby Blevins (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will toss for Long Island. Gorski spent seven years in the highly regarded New York Mets farm system. Blevins enters his fifth straight year with the Flock and is a two-time Atlantic League Champion.

In his first game back since June 17th, shortstop Scott Kelly ripped a go ahead RBI base hit to give the Patriots the lead they would never relinquish last night. 10 months ago Kelly had surgery to have a blood clot treated which forced a rib to be removed as well.
