SASSY MASSEY: IF Craig Massey has reached base safely in seven of his last eight starts, having raised his OBP from .286 to .455 in the process. He is 10-for-25 (.400) from the plate with three steals, seven RBI, seven runs and eight walks over this stretch. Additionally, Massey has reached base in 17 of his last 32 plate appearances over these eight games – all of which have been consecutive starts.
NUMBAH ONE: Mike Fransoso has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games, and owns a nine-game on-base-streak. Since May 18, he is hitting .395 (15-for-38) with three steals, six RBI, eight runs and 10 walks. He currently leads the league in OBP (.495) and ranks second in AVG (.383).

SPEED DEMONS: The Patriots tied a season-high with five stolen bases and Julio Borbon set a single-game high with three steals in Friday’s opener against the Road Warriors. They swiped three more last night, and rank second in the Atlantic League as a team in steals (45). Additionally, Justin Trapp ranks third in the league in stolen bases (12).
GOOD GOLLY MOLLY: Dustin Molleken has now gone five consecutive appearances without allowing an earned run, lowering his ERA from 4.77 to 2.61. During that stretch, he has thrown 5.1 IP, with six strikeouts to just two walks.
inVINCEable: Since allowing a run in each of his first three appearances, RHP Vince Molesy has yielded just one run over 12.1 innings pitched in five games (0.79 ERA) with three walks and 12 strikeouts. He carries a 1.66 ERA on the year.
ANTONINI SHINES: Second-year Patriots southpaw Mike Antonini has not allowed an earned run over his first 14.2 innings on just three hits with 18 K.
RIORDOMINANT: RHP Cory Riordan continued his dominance with the first CG of the year for the Patriots back on Thursday. His 37.2 IP leads in the Atlantic League while his 1.19 BB/9 ranks fourth amongst all qualified pitchers.
