Lancaster, PA – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (15-16) play the Lancaster Barnstormers (17-15) in a doubleheader from Clipper Magazine Stadium. The first game is at 5:00pm and the second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends. Each contest will be seven innings long. The Barnstormers won the first two games of this pivotal four game midweek series. The last four games between these two squads have been decided by one run.

Tough Scheduling…

The Patriots will be playing five games in the span on 48 hours in two different states. Today the Patriots have a doubleheader. Tomorrow the Patriots will play a day night doubleheader with the Riversharks at 11:00am and 7:00pm respectively. Then on Saturday those two squads square off at 1:00pm. The Patriots are already in the midst of their longest road trip of the first half.

Lancaster is currently 1.5 games ahead in the Freedom Division over Somerset.

Road Woes…

The Patriots have lost nine of their last 10 games away from home.

The Patriots are below .500 for the first time since May 3rd when they were 3-4 on the season.
