July 18th Game Notes; Patriots @ Ducks

Central Islip, NY – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (2-3, 37-38) visit the Long Island Ducks (2-3, 41-33) at 7:05 p.m. in the third game of this four game midweek series at Bethpage Ballpark. The Ducks won Monday night in come from behind fashion as they erased deficits in the sixth and seventh innings to win 7-4. The Patriots won last night 8-3 as they led start to finish to snap their personal three game losing streak.

The Patriots jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first frame yesterday. Jake Fox and Dan DeGeorgeeach blasted home runs to left field. Below are the audio clips of the home run calls courtesy of WCTC.

Dan DeGeorge is one of the hottest Patriots hitters as of late. He smacked a two run home run last night.
