Andy Sisco Heads Patriots Most Recent Pitcher Signings

Bridgewater, NJ- The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced the signings of pitchers Andy Sisco, Taylor Sinclair, and Brandon Braboy.

Sisco has Major League experience with the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox. He appeared in 151 games from 2005-2007 and recorded 141 strikeouts in 147.2 innings pitched.

His best season in the Majors came in 2005 when he had a 3.11 ERA and 141 strikeouts in 75.1 innings pitched.

Sisco has four seasons of Triple-A experience in the Royals, White Sox, and New York Yankees organizations. He also spent a season at the Double-A level for the San Francisco Giants organization.

Sisco has a minor league career 3.95 ERA and 555 strikeouts in 516.2 innings pitched in 176 games.

Sinclair has experience in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, reaching the Triple-A level earlier this season in Reno.

He has a minor league career 22-18 record, a 3.83 ERA, and 334 strikeouts in 402 innings pitched in 139 games.

Braboy has three seasons of experience in the Yankees organization, where he has spent his entire career before joining the Patriots.

He has a minor league career 6-6 record, a 3.69 ERA, and 127 strikeouts in 158.2 innings pitched in 55 games.

Braboy joined the team in Southern Maryland and pitched a scoreless inning during Saturday’s game.

In other team news, the Patriots have placed outfielder Johnny Drennen on the disabled list.
