Lancaster, PA – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (10-12, 45-47) visit the Lancaster Barnstormers (12-9, 57-34) from Clipper Magazine Stadium at 7:00 p.m. in the second game of this three game weekend series featuring these Freedom Division foes. Last night the Patriots lost 12-7 to the Barnstormers. The Patriots pitching staff surrendered a season-high 18 hits. In the last 17 innings the Patriots pitchers have given up eight home runs.

Infielder Corey Smith was signed by the Patriots yesterday. He’s the older brother of Patriots reliever Carlton Smith. In Corey’s debut he hit a home run and had a multi-hit game driving in two runs.
