Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (15-16, 50-51) host the York Revolution (14-15, 50-49) from TD Bank Ballpark in a crucial three game midweek series. The Patriots currently trail the two time reigning Atlantic League Champion York Revolution by just one game in the wild card standings. The Patriots have won four in a row. Last night they edged the Blue Crabs 5-4. Below are the highlights of the run scoring plays from the thrilling victory courtesy of WCTC.

The Patriots begin a pivotal series with their Freedom Division foe York Revolution tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Johnny Be Good

Outfielder Johnny Drennen is currently in the midst of a season-high nine game hitting streak. He seems to finally be healthy after suffering two concussions earlier this season.

Outfielder Joe Holden has hit safely in 18 of his last 21 games.

Sanchez Sizzling

Shortstop Yunesky Sanchez hit just .212 in the first half of the season but in the second half he has turned his season around. Since the All-Star break he’s hitting .294 with two home runs and 13 RBI. He had 11 RBI the entire first half.
