August 14th Game Notes; Revolution @ Patriots

Bridgewater, NJ – Today the Somerset Patriots (15-17, 50-52) host the York Revolution (15-15, 51-49) at 11:05 a.m. from TD Bank Ballpark in the second game of this crucial three game midweek series. The Patriots lost the series opener last night 7-1. The Patriots currently trail the Revolution by two games in the wild card race. This is the final Camp Day game of the season.

Sean Green toes the rubber for Somerset this morning

Johnny Be Good

Outfielder Johnny Drennen is currently in the midst of a season-high 10 game hitting streak. He seems to finally be healthy after suffering two concussions earlier this season. During the streak Drennen is 13-for-31 (.419).

Sanchez Sizzling

Shortstop Yunesky Sanchez hit just .212 in the first half of the season but in the second half he has turned his season around. Since the All-Star break he’s hitting .281 with two home runs and 13 RBI. He had 11 RBI the entire first half.

Starting Pitching Matchup

Righty Sean Green toes the rubber for Somerset while southpaw Ryan Feierabend is on the hill for York.

Sean Green: 3-4, 5.02 ERA, 8 appearances and 7 starts, 43.0 innings, 35 Ks, 11 BBs
