Camden, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (19-21, 54-56) visit the Camden Riversharks (15-22, 49-57) at 7:05 p.m. from Campbell’s Field in the third game of this four game midweek series. The Patriots won the series opener Monday by a score of 3-2. Last night first baseman Brian Burgamy slugged a walk-off home run in the 10th inning to beat the Patriots 5-4.

Sanchez Sizzling

Shortstop Yunesky Sanchez hit just .212 in the first half of the season but in the second half he has turned his season around. Since the All-Star break he’s hitting .336 with three home runs and 17 RBI. He had 11 RBI the entire first half. He’s currently on a season-high eight game hitting streak which he is batting .472 over that period of time.

Dobies Does It

Since former closer Josh Rupe retired on July 15th, Andrew Dobies is 9-for-9 in save opportunities.

Lefty Doug Arguello toes the rubber for Somerset while righty hurler Kevin Reese is on the hill for the Riversharks.
