Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (28-31, 63-66) host the Sugar Land Skeeters (30-29, 59-70) in the final game of this mini two game midweek series featuring these Freedom Division foes from TD Bank Ballpark. Somerset is 14-5 against the expansion franchise Skeeters in 2012. Last night the Patriots won in dramatic fashion as Jeff Nettles’ spanked a walk-off three run home run. Wild Card Hunt

The Patriots are currently 7.0 games behind the Revolution in the Wild Card standings. 7 of the Patriots final 11 games are at home which does bode well for Somerset. Meanwhile 7 of the 11 final games for the Revolution are on the road. The Patriots do face the Revs four more times at Sovereign Bank Stadium this coming weekend.


The Patriots have 26 come from behind wins, 14 wins in their final at bat and 7 walk-off wins this season.
