York, PA – Today the Somerset Patriots (28-33, 63-68) visit the York Revolution (36-25, 72-59) in a day night doubleheader from Sovereign Bank Stadium. Game one is at 11:00 a.m. and game two is at 6:30 p.m. Both games will be nine innings. Somerset is just 6-11 vs. the two time reigning Atlantic League champs in 2012.

Today the Patriots will play their 3rd doubleheader in a 10 day span


The Patriots lost the series opener to York last night 6-5 therefore eliminating Somerset from playoff contention. The Patriots will play their final nine games for pride and to be a spoiler. It’s the first time in franchise history the Patriots have missed out on the playoffs in back to back years.


The Patriots have 26 come from behind wins, 14 wins in their final at bat and 7 walk-off this season.

The Patriots have hit the fewest home runs in the Atlantic League (89) while the Revolution have smacked the second most in the league (145).
