Lefty Graham Taylor (0-0, 1.80 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow southpaw Logan Williamson (0-0, 4.15 ERA) will take the hill for the Blue Crabs.

Graham Taylor pitched well enough to get the win in his first start as a Patriot but the bullpen could not follow through off his solid outing. Taylor is one of six current Patriots with Major League Baseball experience. He spent his entire career in the Miami Marlins organization until this year.

Logan Williamson will make his first start of the season after being used a reliever the first week of the season. He was a 27th round draft pick in 2004 by the Chicago White Sox. He was a career minor league record of 58-39 with a 4.48 ERA. He has peaked at the single A level.

Sanchez Sizzling

Yunesky Sanchez leads the league in homers (5) and RBI (12). He’s also hitting .370. He hit seven homers all of last season.

Power Surge

Somerset has homered in six of their first seven games which is impressive considering they were last in the Atlantic League in home runs hit in 2012. This year they have hit the most homers of any of the eight squads.

Fantastic Fox

Jake Fox is hitting .370 and has a team high six game hitting streak.

Holden Hot

Joe Holden has provided a spark at the bottom of the order. He’s 7-for-13 this year with three stolen bases, four walks and a RBI. His elusive speed gives him the ability to reach base via infield singles. Holden has also demonstrated great athletic ability patrolling the real-estate in the outfield as he has already made a handful of spectacular catches.

OBP Machine

Patriots’ second baseman James Skelton is 0-for-9 thus far but he has drawn a team high seven walks.
