Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (32-16) host the York Revolution (29-22) for the second game a three game midweek series featuring these Freedom Division foes. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. The two squads combined to club seven home runs last night as York ultimately squeaked by with a 6-5 victory in the series opener.

Starting Pitching Matchup

Righty David Harden (6-1, 4.06 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Pedro Liriano (2-0, 5.85 ERA) will take the hill for the Revolution.

Freedom Division Update

The Sugar Land Skeeters (35-16) currently lead the Somerset Patriots (32-16) by 1.5 games in the first half Freedom Division race. Somerset has played three fewer games than Sugar Land.

Offensive Juggernauts

York has scored the most runs (311) in the Atlantic League while Somerset has scored the second most runs (295) in the Atlantic League.

All-Time Series Numbers

York leads all-time series with Somerset 65-56. These two have been playing each other since the 2007 season.

Jake Fox leads the Atlantic League in home runs with 16.

Eddy Martinez-Esteve leads the Atlantic League in batting average hitting at a tremendous .364 clip. He has a comfortable 22 point lead over the next best hitter in the league which is Andy Marte of York. Martinez-Esteve has hit safely in 23 of his last 27 games. He has reached base safely in 25 of his last 27 contests.

The Patriots have four players in the top 15 in the Atlantic League in batting average: Martinez-Esteve (1st, .364), Eggleston (8th, .318), Smith (10th, .315), Fox (T-11th, .313)
