York jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first on a solo homerun by Andres Perez (9).
A solo homerun by Jeff Baisley (4) in the in the bottom of the fourth evened the score up at one for Somerset.
The Revolution scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Michael Hernandez to regain the lead and make the score 2-1.
Bobby Stevens (5) drove a solo homerun over the left field wall in the bottom half of the fifth to answer right back for the Patriots and even the game up at two. Later that inning, RBI singles by Jake Fox and Cory Aldridge gave the Patriots a 4-2 lead.
The Revolution made it a 4-3 game in the top of the eighth on a solo home run by Salvador Paniagua (10).
Somerset got an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth on a wild pitch for the 5-3 final.
Patriots starter Josh Lowey (9-5) picked up the win, allowing three runs on six hits in eight innings pitched. Revolution starter Chris Cody (10-5) suffered the loss, allowing four runs on 11 hits in seven innings pitched. Jon Hunton earned his 22 save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning pitched.
