The Patriots defeated the Barnstormers 5-1 in the first game.
The Barnstormers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning on a solo home run by Jason Taylor (2).
Somerset answered with five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on a two-run single by Aharon Eggleston to claim the lead and a three-run home run by Cory Aldridge (10) to extend it to 5-1.
Patriots starter Derell McCall (5-0) picked up the win, allowing a run on two hits in five innings pitched. Lancaster starter Will Savage (8-10) suffered the loss, allowing five runs on five hits in 4.2 innings pitched.
The Patriots defeated the Barnstormers 5-4 in the second game.
With the score tied 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning, Adam Donachie drove in the game-winning run on a single down the right field line.
The Barnstormers took a 3–0 lead on an RBI double by Blake Gailen and a two-run homerun by Ryan Harvey (24) in the top of the first inning.
The Patriots got on the board in the bottom of the first on a sacrifice fly by Corey Smith, which made the score 3-1.
The Patriots cut into the lead with another run in the third inning on a solo homerun by Jonny Tucker (3).
In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Patriots tied the game on Bobby Stevens’ triple and took the lead on an RBI single by Tucker.
Lancaster tied up the game in the top of the seventh inning on an RBI single by Kevin Howard to make it a 3-3 game.
Patriots reliever Jason Lowey (6-3) picked up the win with a scoreless inning pitched. Lancaster reliever Brodie Downs (0-2) suffered the loss, allowing a run in 1.1 innings pitched.
