Playoff Series Rematch
Last year Somerset and Long Island played a thrilling best-of-five Liberty Division Series. Patriots trailed Ducks 2-1 then the red, white and blue received back-to-back complete game shutouts from Will Oliver and Roy Merritt to buoy them in the playoffs.
Jon Hunton, entering his 5th year with the Patriots, is seven saves away from becoming the all-time saves leader in Atlantic League history. He currently has 128. Jim Ed Warden, formerly of Southern Maryland, holds the mark with 134.
Joining The Good Guys
Carlos Guzman played in 135 games for Camden Riversharks last year. He was an All-Star who hit .276, 10 HRs, 76 RBI. In 24 games against Somerset he was lethal hitting .310, 2 HRs, 14 RBI.
