Lancaster, PA – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (27-22) visit the Lancaster Barnstormers (25-22) for the rubber match of the three game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. from Clipper Magazine Stadium. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. The Patriots are 6-3 against the Barnstormers this year. Lancaster won 6-4 Saturday in large part due to a Mike McDade go ahead home run in the eighth inning. Somerset was triumphant yesterday as Bryan LaHair went 3-for-5 with 2 HRs and 5 RBI. Starting Pitching Matchup

Left Darin Gorski (3-2, 4.37 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while righty hurler Terry Doyle (2-2, 4.84 ERA) will toss for Lancaster.

Darin Gorski grew up in Mount Joy, PA which is 12 miles from Clipper Magazine Stadium. He already has a win at this venue as he won on April 28th in front of 20 friends/family

Playoff Picture

With 21 games remaining, the Patriots and the Ducks are tied in the Liberty Division race. The Patriots do indeed own the tiebreaker. The New Britain Bees are 3.0 back. Somerset plays New Britain seven more times. Long Island plays New Britain three more times starting tonight for a series at Bethpage Ballpark. Meanwhile the Barnstormers are 2.5 back of the Revolution in the Freedom Division Race.
