Waldorf, MD – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (2-0, 40-32) invade Crustacean Nation and visit the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (0-2, 26-45) for the final game of a three game midweek series. Last night, Somerset scored 10 unanswered runs from the sixth inning on to erase a 7-0 deficit. Somerset scored four in the sixth, three in the seventh, two in the eighth and one in the ninth. Patriots’ bullpen kept the offense afloat by tossing six scoreless innings. It was the second greatest deficit overcome in a win in franchise history. In 2004 they overcame an eight run hole against Camden and won 14-13.
