Bridgewater, NJ – Today the Somerset Patriots (6-5, 44-37) host the Sugar Land Skeeters (6-6, 41-41) for a split admission doubleheader. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 11:05 a.m. and it will be seven innings from TD Bank Ballpark. First pitch for game two is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and it will be nine innings from TD Bank Ballpark.  Download today’s comprehensive game notes. Starting Pitching Matchup Game One

Righty Jeremy McBryde (6-4, 5.04 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Tim Alderson (0-0, 4.97 ERA) will toss for Sugar Land. This is just McBryde’s second start since 2010.

Starting Pitching Matchup Game Two

Righty Will Oliver (0-1, 3.46 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Sean Gallagher (6-4, 3.03 ERA) will toss for Sugar Land. Oliver has hurled four straight quality starts (at least six innings, three runs or fewer)

Triple Threat

Last night the Patriots drilled three triples (Mateo, LaHair, Robinson) which tied a franchise record for most triples in a game. They also hit three in a game in 2001, 2004, 2007.
