Lancaster, PA – Today the Somerset Patriots (9-7, 47-39) visit the Lancaster Barnstormers (6-10, 40-45) for the final game of a three game weekend series. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. from Clipper Magazine Stadium. Download today’s comprehensive game notes. This is a matchup of the last two teams to win the Atlantic League Championship (Barnstormers 2014, Patriots 2015). Somerset is 11-5 against Lancaster in 2016 and an impressive 8-1 at Clipper Magazine Stadium which was the site of the All-Star Game earlier this month. Somerset won the series opener Friday night 3-2 as they turned a season-high four double plays. Last night Somerset outlasted Lancaster 12-7. The teams combined for 32 hits as the Patriots scored eight runs in the finale three innings.

Lefty Rudy Owens (1-2, 4.86 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow righty hurler Terry Doyle (4-4, 3.57 ERA) will toss for Lancaster.
