Bridgewater, NJ – Tonight the Somerset Patriots (25-22, 63-54) host the New Britain Bees (20-27, 56-61) for the first game of a three game weekend series. Starting Pitching Matchup

Righty Alexis Candelario (0-1, 6.58 ERA) toes the rubber for Somerset while fellow right hander Daniel Sattler (1-2, 2.61 ERA) will toss for New Britain. Candelario began the year in the Italian League but latched on with Somerset for three starts in June. He departed for the Mexican League the last two months but he is back in the Atlantic League for the playoff push. Sattler won a Championship with the Patriots last year as a reliever. He was 8-2, 3.94 ERA over 47 games with 64 Ks and 35 BBs.

Jon Hunton is 24-for-26 in his last 26 save opportunities. His has blown two saves since May 21st.  He leads the league in saves with 31. It’s his fourth straight year of tallying 30 saves.
