“We’re very happy to co-host this pop up sale with two amazing partners. This event offers a safe, convenient way for our community to get fresh, restaurant quality products, along with other essential items,” said Steve Harris, Vice President of Sales at Sysco Metro New York.
5% of every order placed will be donated to the RWJBarnabas Health Emergency Response Fund to help health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis.
“We are happy to provide our fans and community with an opportunity to get the food and supplies they need in a very convenient way,” said Somerset Patriots President/General Manager Patrick McVerry. “Our partners at Sysco are offering a great service during these times while also raising money for health care workers that have been asked to do more than ever before.”
To adhere to social distancing and safety guidelines, a Sysco Metro New York associate will place your purchased items into the trunk of your vehicle at the ballpark on May 8th. All orders are placed online and a confirmation email with the order reference code will be required at pickup to verify purchase.
“Once again, the Somerset Patriots are showing that they are our community’s team,” said Somerset County Freeholder Director Shanel Robinson. “By joining in this partnership with Sysco, they are using the ballpark as a site for two important purposes- helping individuals get necessary items and supporting the RWJBarnabas Health Emergency Response Fund. On behalf of Somerset County, I’d like to thank all the parties involved.”
