Prized infield prospect Oswald Peraza appears to be heading to Double-A Somerset.

Peraza shared a post on the “story” feature of his verified Instagram account that congratulated him on the move, with the translation reading: “More than deserved, your promotion to Double-A continues to show what you are capable of.  God Bless you.”

Just 20 years old, Peraza was recently added to Baseball America’s Top 100 prospects list, and the shortstop was hitting .306 with five homers and 16 RBI in his first 28 games with High-A Hudson Valley this season.

No word on any corresponding moves, and the team has not confirmed any transactions.

Additionally, J.P. Sears and Diego Castillo have been named the Double-A Northeast League’s Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively.

Sears struck out 10 in six innings over the course of two outings — one start, one in relief — this week, while Castillo went 10-for-20 with three homers and four RBI in Somerset’s series against Reading.
